This letter is to request sponsorship and/or provide advertising opportunities for a special firefighters fundraising sporting event, the First Annual Firefighters for Children Against Terrorism "Never Forgotton" Sports Classic. Touched by Fire Angels, Inc. is promoting this fun filled week of sporting events to raise money for the children impacted in the New York City and Oklahoma City terrorist attacks. The week-long event will feature a four day softball tournament, a one day team golf tournament, and a one day saltwater fishing tournament that will attract firefighters from all over the world. It will also feature other competitive events in order to get maximum participation from all interested firefighters.
Touched by Fire Angels, Inc. will be hosting its First Annual National Softball and Sport Classic at Mills Pond Sports Complex in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on the week of September 6-12, 2009. The golf and fishing tournaments will be held in the Fort Lauderdale area as well.
We are expecting anywhere from 10,000 to 20,000 to join us this week. Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th will draw thousands frrom the community to Mills Pond Park. This event has already received local and national attention!
We are organizing and planning for approximately one hundred teams for a total of 1,200 firefighters and their families to participate in the Softball Tournament.

over the Country. We are relying on community involvement and

lives of children and families who have had their world impacted

Product and Service Expo |
The "Expo", to be held at Mills Pond Sports Complex, is an opportunity for corporations, non-profit organizations and government agencies to exhibit their product(s) and service(s) at the Sports Classic Event and to interact with the firefighters, thier families, and the event spectators and supporters.
Booth location will be on a first-come, first-served basis by date registered with multiple booths taking precedence. The booths will be set up in a large field adjacent to the entrance of the sports complex. Reservations will be accepted via facsimile transmission, with payment to follow within five working days. All tentative reservations will held for five working days.
What
do you get with your booth?
All standard booths are under covered tents and will be 10' wide by 10' deep(multiple adjoingin tents can be reserved in 10 foot increements). There will be a back wall and divider drapes between vendors. Tables and chairs must be furnished by the vendor.
What does it cost?
$175.00 per event day or $500.00 for all four days (Wednesday through Saturday). |
